It isn’t as complicated as you think it is. It is just excluding few things from your food especially when you are doing it for the first time. Things to exclude .

How to enjoy it - here how - Mix millet with dal and potato. Add ghee to it. Squeeze some lemon on it. And when you take a bite of this mix , you bite into the raw onion. Great source of vitamin B12, fermented millet porridge is fast to make with ample health benefits associated With it. .
Dr Khader highly recommends millet porridge to solve various gut related as well as vitamin B12 related issues.

Simple steps to prepare this porridge detailed below -
1. Soak millets overnight or atleast for 4 hours. Millets that can be used include Barnyard millet, Foxtail Millet, Little Millet, Kodo Millet and Browntop Millet. .

2. Cook 1 cup millet with 4 cups water until millet is cooked completely. Cook in earthen pot or stainless steel container. .
3. Once millet is cooked, close it with lid and keep it for fermentation for 7 to 8 hours. Best time to cook porridge is in the night or early morning so that it’s ready for breakfast or dinner. .

4. After 7 -8 hours fermented porridge is ready. You can add cumin, cumin powder, salt or buttermilk to add flavour to it. You can also add steamed veggies to it. .

5. Important note - do not reheat the porridge as it can destroy the probiotics generated in it. .

As we jump into a new routine , newer challenge, unexplored way of learning from home, have decided to treat children with this #homemade #pestopasta from Spinach and bean #stirfry with homemade #tomatosauce . I had tried this couple of days back (photo from last time). It is the quickest dish I can think of making especially today when I am going to be adjusting to a different routine. .
