PRODUCT BENEFITS Cooking food in the eco-friendly clay pot helps to enrich the food with essential minerals like calcium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium, sulphur, etc. It also increases the nutritional count of the food. Clay pots are alkaline in nature, hence they are perfect to cook all types of acidic food to balance out the pH level of what you cook in it and make it healthier for you. Clay, being porous in nature, allows heat and moisture to circulate evenly making food juicer, Food gets cooked to perfection without over-heating & burning. KNOW YOUR PRODUCT It is a handmade product so size and shape may slightly vary. SEASONED This product is seasoned using the traditional method – soaking the pot in water overnight, drying in sunlight the next day followed with oiling and boiling rice starch water in the pot and lastly drying in the Sun until the pot is completely dried. Seasoning using oil may appear glossy and slippery on the surface which gives a non-sticky feature naturally. BLACK POTTERY Pots attain the black colour naturally during the DEEP BURNING process due to heating at high temperatures in the kiln. ASSURANCE We assure you there are no chemicals used in any step of making this product. It is made using naturally excavated clay. Red pots may turn black and black pots may turn red from the bottom while cooing due to temperature change – that’s completely safe and normal. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Remember: use the pot on the medium to low flame Cleaning instructions: allow the pot to cool naturally and rinse it off with plain water. For stubborn stains, soak the pot with water for 3-4 hours and scrub it using a stiff brush (coconut coir brush is recommended). Use baking soda and lemon mixture to clean the pot once in a while DO NOT use an empty pot on a direct flame DO NOT pour cold water on a hot clay pot DO NOT use soap or detergent which will soak into your pores and seep into the food
