THE KING OF GUJARATI MANGOES
There are mangoes — and then there is Gir Kesar. Named for its saffron-coloured pulp, this variety is grown exclusively in the foothills of Girnar, Junagadh (Gujarat). Its unique microclimate and soil give it a sweetness, aroma, and texture that cannot be replicated. This is why it holds a GI tag — only mangoes from this region can be called Gir Kesar.
NATURALLY TREE-RIPENED
Most supermarket mangoes are harvested raw and chemically ripened. Ours are harvested at the right maturity, and air-flown fresh to the UAE.
Result: Deep, layered sweetness. Floral aroma. Buttery texture.
This is what a mango is meant to taste like.
WHAT MAKES IT EXCEPTIONAL
- Colour: deep saffron-orange pulp
- Texture: fiberless, smooth, buttery
- Taste: high natural sweetness, balanced & complex
- Aroma: intensely floral
- Seed: small — more edible pulp
- Season: mid-April to late June (6–8 weeks)

HOW TO CHECK RIPENESS
- Colour: may stay partly green
- Aroma: strong, sweet, floral
- Touch: slight softness when pressed
- Inside: deep orange, smooth pulp
HOW TO RIPEN
- Keep at room temperature: 1–3 days
- Do not refrigerate unripe mangoes
- Once ripe: refrigerate, consume in 2–3 days
- Faster ripening: wrap in paper
HOW TO ENJOY
- Eat fresh (best)
- Aamras with saffron & cardamom
- Mango lassi with A2 curd
- Mango shrikhand
- With ice cream, fruit bowls, or toast
SEASONAL & LIMITED
Available only mid-April to late June. Fresh consignments arrive weekly. Once the season ends, it’s gone.
SOURCING
Direct from Junagadh orchards. No carbide | No ethylene | No wax. Air-flown within 24–48 hours of packing.
STORAGE
Arrives firm to semi-ripe
Ripen: 1–3 days at room temperature
Refrigerate when ripe: consume in 2–3 days
Freeze pulp for off-season use
CONTENTS
Box of 12 mangoes (approx. 3–3.5 kg)
