Organic Sattu Atta, also known as Fried Gram Flour, is made from 100% organically grown roasted whole chana (gram) — finely stone-ground to preserve its nutrients and natural earthy aroma.

This traditional Indian superfood is rich in plant protein, iron, and fiber, offering sustained energy and improved digestion. It’s a natural cooling food, ideal for the UAE’s hot climate and for making refreshing sattu drinks or protein-packed breakfast recipes.

1. Sattu Lassi (Cooling Drink)

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp sattu flour
  • 1 cup cold water or milk
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt and roasted cumin powder to taste

Instructions:

  1. Mix sattu with water or milk until smooth.
  2. Add lemon juice, salt, and cumin powder.
  3. Stir well and serve chilled.

2. Sattu Paratha (Stuffed Flatbread)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour (or mix with sattu flour)
  • 2–3 tbsp sattu flour
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • Green chili, coriander, salt, and spices
  • Water for kneading

Instructions:

  1. Mix sattu, onion, chili, coriander, and spices.
  2. Make a soft dough with flour and water.
  3. Stuff the sattu mixture, roll into flatbreads.
  4. Cook on a hot tawa with a little oil until golden.
