Catcha Matcha has been selected from certified "Eco-farmers" in Shizuoka, promoting using natural compost. Organic tea is grown and processed with strict organic guidance, where there is no synthetic fertiliser used for pest and weed control or processing.
It is heavy metal tested and approved.
Our Organic Matcha Grade are certified organic by JASCert, which is equivalent to USDA and EU-BIO.
It is the highest Organic Matcha Grade "A" is coming from thefirst harvest of the year (May) and are hand picked, then granite stone-grounded and single origin, not a blend.
These tea leaves are sweet, tender and bright green.
The taste is very unique, bold, rich in "Umami" flavour, pleasant to drink.
