Quick recipes:

Use the same fermented batter; add water for thinner consistency. Spread on a hot pan, drizzle oil, and cook until golden and crisp.

3. Steamed Puttu (Variation)

Grind soaked Idli Rice coarsely and steam in puttu molds layered with coconut for a light South Indian breakfast.
